Suunnittelutoimisto Reino Rehn Ky EETTISET SÄÄNNÖT YLEISTÄ Yritystoiminta on inhimillistä toimintaa, jossa tulee noudattaa samoja sääntöjä ja normeja kuin muussakin yhteiskunnallisessa toiminnassa. Etiikalla tarkoitamme hyvän elämän periaatteita ja moraalilla sen noudattamista. Nämä eettiset säännöt muodostavat toimintaamme ohjaavan kokonaisuuden. TOIMINNAN PÄÄMÄÄRÄT Etsimme ratkaisuja asiakkaiden tarpeisiin ammattitaitomme avulla ja palvelemme asiakkaitamme heidän suunnittelu- ja laitteistotarpeissaan. Yritystoimintamme kautta edistämme yhteiskunnallista hyvinvointia. Tavoittelemme yrityksemme olemassaolon ja jatkuvuuden turvaamiseksi riittävää katetta. TOIMINNAN PERUSPERIAATTEET (ARVOT) 1. Kunnioitamme työntekijöitämme, asiakkaitamme ja yhteistyökumppaneitamme; kun olemme tekemisissä ihmisten kanssa annamme heille sen, mikä heille kuuluu. (IHMISYYS, REHELLISYYS) 2. Ajattelemme maailmanlaajuisesti, toimimme paikallisesti; jaamme työmme tulokset oikeudenmukaisesti. (MAAILMANLAAJUISUUS, OIKEUDENMUKAISUUS) 3. Kunnioitamme elinympäristöämme ja käytämme meille uskottuja resursseja tehokkaasti. (ELINYMPÄRISTÖN KUNNIOITTAMINEN, TEHOKKUUS) OPERATIIVISET MENETTELYTAPAOHJEET 1. Puhu totta, pidä lupauksesi ja luo luottamukselliset suhteet asiakkaisiin ja yhteistyökumppaneihin. Muista, että muiden ihmisten toiveet ja tavoitteet ovat yhtä tärkeitä kuin omasi. Ole joustava palvellessasi asiakasta ja toimita hänelle juuri sellainen tuote kuin hän on kuvitellutkin saavansa. Ole vilpitön kun sinulle esitetään kysymyksiä. ESIMERKIKSI: Kun asiakas valittaa ostamastaan tuotteesta, suhtaudu hänen valitukseensa vakavasti ja pyri aidosti ratkaisemaan syntynyt ongelma niin, että asiakas on tyytyväinen ratkaisuun. 2. Noudata toimintamaasi lain kirjainta ja henkeä. Käyttäydy siten, että toimintasi voi tuoda julkiseksi ja että sinun ei tarvitse hävetä omaa eikä yrityksesi toimintaa julkisuudessa, yrityksen asiakkaiden tai yhteistyökumppanien eikä lähimpien ihmistesi edessä. ESIMERKIKSI: Jos et tiedä, miten sinun tulisi toimia, selvitä, mitä laki sanoo, seuraa yrityksen eettisen koodiston ohjeita, keskustele asiasta lähimpiesi kanssa ja kuuntele omaatuntoasi. 3. Pidä huolta toimintaympäristöstäsi; niin ihmisten luomasta ympäristöstä kuin luonnon ympäristöstä. Älä tuhlaa henkisiä äläkä luonnon resursseja. Pyri jalostamaan tiedosta viisautta. Rehn Instruments ETHICAL CODES INTRODUCTION Business life consists of interactions between human parties, and therefore we should follow the same rules and norms in business life as in any other area of human life. For us, ethics means the principles for good life, and morality means following those principles. Our actions and activities are guided by the following ethical principles. OUR GOAL We are using our knowhow to solve our customers' needs and serving our customers in their planning and equipment needs. We will promote the society's well being through our business. We are targeting for an adequate profit that secures our company's existence in the long-run. GUIDING PRINCIPLES (MORAL VALUES) 1. We respect our employees, customers and partners; we respect honesty in dealing with people. (HUMANITY, HONESTY) 2. We think globally and act locally; we share the results of our work using just principles. (GLOBALITY, JUSTICE) 3. We respect our living environment and use our resources efficiently. (RESPECT FOR LIVING ENVIRONMENT, EFFICIENCY) OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. Tell the truth, keep your promises and create confidential relations with customers and partners. Remember that other people's wishes and goals are as important as your own. When you are serving a customer, be flexible and make sure that the product you deliver meets the customer's expectations. FOR EXAMPLE: If a customer is complaining about the product he/she has bought, take his/her complaint seriously, and try to solve the problem truly so that the customer is satisfied with the solution. 2. Follow both the letter and the spirit of the law of the country where you are operating. Behave in such a way that your actions can be made public, and that you don't need to be ashamed of your own or your company's actions either in public, in front of your customers, your partners or people close to you. FOR EXAMPLE: If you don't know what to do, find out what the law says, follow your company's ethical codes, discuss the matter with people close to you, and listen to your conscience. 3. Take care of the environment; both the cultural and the natural environment. Don't waste human or natural resources. Try to create wisdom from knowledge. FOR EXAMPLE: Save energy and recycle the waste produced by your operations. BACK
